Volunteer Opportunities

There are numerous volunteer opportunities, many of which do not require medical knowledge or skills.  Volunteers, medical and non-medical, are THE reason Good Samaritan can provide the services we do.  Volunteers are an essential part of the clinic.

We need volunteer:

     Physicians

     Nurse Practitioners

     Registered Nurses

     Certified Medical Assistants

     Licensed Practical Nurses

     Lab Technicians

     Pharmacists

     Pharmacy Technicians

And, we need volunteers who can:

     File

     Answer the telephone

     Greet patients and prospective patients

     Enter data into the computer

     Escort patients to exam rooms

     Facilitate patient flow during clinic

     Sort and count medication samples

     Assemble new patient charts    

     Handle lab paperwork

     Take specimens to the hospital lab

     Assist with fund raisers

     Do a variety of other things too
