About the Clinic
The Clinic grew out
of an idea of the Rev. Brent Norris, rector of Grace
Episcopal Church, Cullman. It quickly grew to
involve 12 churches. then more as it continued on a
journey from dream to reality on January 27, 2004, when
the first patients were seen.
From a one night a week medical
clinic for 3 hours, we have come a long way.
We have 5 medical clinic
days, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 12 noon and 1
p.m. to 4 p.m. As well, we have Tuesday night, 5
p.m. to 8 p.m. There is a dental extraction clinic 2 nights per month, eye
disease exams for diabetics at a local ophthalmologist's
office, a once a month hearing clinic, diabetic supplies
and referrals to specialists in Cullman and Birmingham.
Luke 10:25-37 is
the parable of the Good Samaritan. The last verse
is our motto and our guiding principle for all our
efforts.
"Go and do
likewise."
